Built in 1991 to enable the amalgamation pf the Convent of Mercy Primary School for Girls and St Patrick's Monastery Primary School for Boys; attractive, secure and well-maintained environment; three-time winners (and twice runners-up) of the best-kept large school in the Southern Education and Library Board. Nursery classes opened in 1999, one within refurbished purpose-built accommodation within the school and another in purpose-built outreach centre in the west of Dungannon. In 2002, building work undertaken to accommodate speech and language class within the school and to provide disabled access and toilets. Computer suite; comprehensive library provision. After-school classes for athletics, football, tennis, art and music. Successful community links include cross-community contact scheme, charity fundraising, Breakthru drugs education centre.
